What Architects ‘do’.

What architects do is the same the World over and this video from the American Institute of Architects explains it well:

“What architects do”

In the UK, only those persons and practices registered with the Architects Registration Board are legally entitled to be called ‘architect’ with a few exceptions (landscape, naval and golf course).

Not registered with ARB? Not an architect.

In the UK, most architects are also members of the Royal Institute of British Architects, giving the client the extra protection that a chartered body offers with the necessary insurance level etc.

KR.eativ: Architects is an RIBA Chartered Practice using the latest BIM software and workflows complying with the UK Government’s requirement for ALL government projects to be using BIM level 2 from April 2016. Anyone still working on a drawing board or with 2D CAD cannot comply with that requirement.

Choosing an accredited RIBA Chartered Practice will give you peace of mind. They comply with strict criteria covering insurance, health and safety and quality management systems.
